  • Are you are working in technical digital accessibility?
  • Do you only have a few years under your belt?
  • Are you wanting to validate where you are in your skill set?
  • Do you like the idea of spending in-depth time in real world learning scenarios to add to your technical accessibility skill set?

This workshop is designed for technical professionals already working in technical accessibility roles who are interested in expanding their knowledge and skill set in technical digital accessibility.

This program will include scenario-based learning where you can share your current thought process and learn how to apply critical thinking that discuss the impact technical processes have on people with disabilities.

The workshop will help you measure your technical proficiencies, identify areas and ways to grow in your digital accessibility role, and filling in gaps along the way. One of the best ways to bridge those gaps is real-time peer-led learning dynamics.

This workshop is not a class or a course but an interactive learning environment. The leaders of the program will not be teaching about WCAG techniques or teaching ARIA. Instead, your colleagues will lead you through activities where you will encounter critical decision making situations and how to proceed for the best outcome in your projects.

During the session, the IAAP-certified subject matter experts will share their own technical and professional experiences. The goal is for attendees to take home a stronger framework for implementing quality technical digital accessibility in the organizations where they work. The workshop is tailored to foster a dynamic learning environment where participants can learn from each other’s experiences and insights.
