Welcome to the Accessibility Professionals Forum
This year marks an exciting new chapter for the ICT Accessibility Testing Symposium and the IAAP Expert Forum.
The annual ICT Accessibility Testing Symposium was founded in 2016. Prior to this, testing coverage at accessibility conferences was usually limited to just a few sessions. Outside of conferences, promotional webinars were one of the main ways to learn about innovations in testing. We developed the symposium to meet the shared need of accessibility professionals to present and discuss research and practice. Since its inception, the symposium has been the only peer-reviewed event focused exclusively on accessibility testing.
This year’s collaboration started as a hallway conversation at the 2024 M-Enabling Summit between myself and Christopher Lee, Chair of the IAAP Expert Forum, and me. The idea of bringing the best of both worlds together was compelling. The G3ict/IAAP team brings the support and collective experience to host the exceptional annual gathering that is M-Enabling. The ICT Testing Symposium team brings their knowledge and expertise to developing a tightly focused program of peer-reviewed content.
We welcome your submissions in response to this call for presentations, and we look forward to your presentations at the 2025 M-Enabling Summit.
