Join a group of subject matter experts for a full-day workshop that promises to be a valuable investment of your time. The workshop will focus on the Disability Inclusion & Accessibility (DI&A) Program, which includes a practical tool developed by the disability advocacy community to guide companies in taking concrete steps towards inclusivity and accessibility for persons with disabilities. The workshop will highlight the impacts of organizational accessibility maturity models and provide an overview of 14 recommended criteria and a new interactive resource application.
As a participant, you will see a live demonstration of the DI&A Navigator ™ and organization criteria database, which has been developed with the oversight of a steering committee of leading disability advocacy organizations. Participants will also get access to a new resource database that links to the Navigator criteria. During the session, the DI&A pilot organizations will share their experiences. Furthermore, a framework for implementing professional educational and accessibility certification throughout your company will be shared in an open dialog. The workshop is tailored to foster a dynamic learning environment where participants can learn from each other’s experiences and insights.
The DI&A Navigator 14 criteria include topics such as:
- Leadership & Accountability
- Policy, Planning, Management, & Capacity Building
- Emergency Preparedness & Disaster Resilience
- Facilities, Equipment, and Transportation
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
